Undeserved Mercy

As he saith also in Hosea, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. Romans 9:25&26

A huge powerful God...
Sent His only beloved Son...
To give us undeserved mercy...
As I've said before...How Indescribably Lucky We Are!

  1. It's a little spooky that I was thinking this when I blogged tonight. My post doesn't say anything necessarily about how lucky we are to be His children, but rather, how much I realize that being loved by God is the only time we will ever feel truly loved. Those times when we express ourselves fully without regard to anything other than that expression can be viewed as a disrespect by some of the more fundamental Christians. But the truth of being free in Christ means He knows me the same as He knew the prostitutes, the dishonest tax collectors, the fornicators, the thieves, all of them. He just knew them and loved them. I don't see myself as being any less needy of that same grace. And to that I agree, we are "Indescribably lucky.."
